Smell you later

I have spent more than 8 months with no inspiration to blog or share a thought and this bothered me for a while as I wasn’t sure what was happening. I decided to renew my WordPress subscription just in case the fire comes back, and months went by and still nothing. Under normal circumstances, I would view this as negative, but it isn’t.

There are seasons to all the things we do in life, career, relationships, and even personal development journeys. The reason for my silence is simply that I had come to a “pause” on my blogging journey whilst I pursued other things.

Being a blogger has pushed me and sharpened my creativity. It has boosted my esteem and given me an opportunity to have an outlet, and hopefully in that process helped others with my life lessons. I enjoy whom I have become in the process. I have learned to be more expressive of the burning issues in my heart, and to relay my stories more cohesively. Blogging has given me the opportunity to e-meet wonderful people and to be used by God as a vessel of encouragement through the decisions, mistakes, and victories I have personally experienced in life.

After evaluating this phase, I have decided that it is time to move on from this incredible blogging journey. To all my 36 (WordPress and email) followers, regular readers, seasonal browsers, and whichever role you played in supporting- thank you and I appreciate the time taken to read, process, comment, like and hopefully use the advice where applicable in your own life. Your contributions have helped me grow and helped me get a step closer to where I believe God is taking me. I have enjoyed my time here!

I can’t confirm that I will circle back to blogging, but personal journaling will continue to be a part of my life. As I leave this platform to focus on other aspects, I pray that you would let the message of healing, forgiveness, transformation and personal development continue to be at the forefront of your journey. Remember that this is a layered journey that often requires multiple efforts of peeling, unlearning, relearning, and discovering. As you continue to heal, you will discover yourself -the better version of yourself. I pray God gives you strength to heal even more, and to develop better habits, boundaries, and lifestyles. As you enter new seasons, remember to pay forward your victories that may unlock other people’s prisons- that is the gem of healing and this creates a real community.

I love you all, and I’m still available for any questions, support, guidance or chats, you can contact me on This blog site will remain active for a few months, feel free to also use it for contacting me. Until then, may you heal and grow, all for the glory of God!

In true South African style, “Sharp Sharp”.

With love, Unathi.
